If you can, why do not give yourself a treat?

People that follow Mediterranean Diet (that are decreasing day by day) are not normally following a process of weight loss. Their lifestyle and dietary pattern keep them in shape. This is why from time to time, in special occasions, they can allow to give themselves a treat. Something I like very much is a milk shake, a natural and real milk shake. I have it generally with fruits, with more or less sugar, as it depends on the personal choice. Many people think that ethnicity is related with these preferences. It can be in a certain degree, but education and habits are the most important for that. My sweetness perception is very high. Since I can remember, I have coffee and tea without any sweetener at all and can’t stand any packed juice, due to its intense level of sugar.

A milk shake can be a good start, especially if you are well accompanied.
