It has been known since long time ago that we can identify two parts in our mind. An emotional one that acts by mere instinct, and a rational one, which manages our will, takes sensible decisions and allows us for self control.

In front of a difficult temptation, as can be an inconvenient food at an inconvenient time, we have to activate the coolest part of or our brain to overcome it. We have to think in the consequences of both alternatives. We have to visualize them, in the form of the daily images of the fat people that we meet walking and eating chips, trans fat ice creams or any other piece of junk food, and the images of the people that symbolize the goal we want to achieve. The contrast between them will make your decision easier.

It is very good for you to grab these images in your memory. Another option is going to the supermarket and watch what fat people have in their carts. In 99% of the cases, being obese is not a mere accident. This can be considered cruel and unsupportive, but you do not have to tell others. Just use these considerations in your own sake.
